Make your day special by dining out at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Pearland, Texas if you’re visiting the area and craving breakfast.

Shout out to my new foodie acquaintance, Tiffany, whom I met when driving for Lyft. She likes to try out new places like I do. Tiffany and I have something in common – we love breakfast. She told me about Another Broken Egg Cafe which I had not been to yet but had wanted to try it out. She convinced me, and I went.

Tiffany, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for a thumbs up on trying out this wonderful cafe.

What type of restaurant is Another Broken Egg?

Another Broken Egg Cafe is a breakfast and brunch place. Breakfast options include classic American and several ethnic foods such as French and Spanish entrees. Like beignets? Eggs? Pancakes? You’ll discover all that and beyond what you can imagine on this restaurant’s menu selections.

First, I must say thank you to Tiffany – I went and was not disappointed. I agree wholeheartedly that the food is totally worth a visit to this fabulous cafe. The menus include several French-type entrees, but there are also Spanish breakfast options.

Only one problem. There was so much to choose from. I had a difficult time narrowing my order to one entree. No problem, though, because there are options. And my server, Alexis, was a great help in answering all my questions on what time choose. Not only was he kind but very patient as I looked the menu over in depth.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is Kid-Friendly

Your kiddos will love the chocolate chip pancakes, incidentally. I treated my little granddaughter to breakfast the day that I went to Another Broken Egg. She loved every messy bite (messy because she dug in before I thought to cut her pancakes for her).

Egg Breakfasts

When a cafe lists egg breakfasts on the menu, I’m all in. I love over-medium fried eggs, and not many chefs get it just right. Either the eggs are too runny, or they taste similar to boiled eggs. Not this place. My eggs turned out perfect.

And that sausage – oh my. It was the best ever.

I took the grits and English muffin to go – too much to eat at one time. If I hadn’t tried out the beignets and the pancake, of course, I probably wouldn’t have taken leftovers to go.

What’s perfect fried over-medium eggs?

The white covers the yolks. Yolks are soft but don’t run if  barely touched with a fork. You can cut around each yolk without piercing the yolk.

What is served with the fried eggs?

Options vary. My choice came with grits, English muffin, and pan sausage freshly cooked at the cafe (not pre-frozen and heated up) – best tasting ever.

For a little extra, a pancake could be ordered with the egg breakfast.

Don’t you love menu options that make it possible to order exactly what you want without having to choose two entrees? For instance, I noticed peach cobbler (one of my most favorite cravings lately) pancakes.

If you’re in the Pearland area, go enjoy a breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe. While you’re dining there, let the hostess, manager, or your server know you heard about them from Angie at Kitchen Southern Hospitality (KSH, kitchenhospitality.com). Thank you much.

Jorge, the manager I met at the Pearland location, was very courteous and friendly.

Dining out at the Pearland Another Broken Egg Cafe location was a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for breakfast or brunch.

The eggs, sausage, and pancakes and beignets are making me hungry. And I’m thinking, I can’t wait to go to breakfast again at Another Broken Egg Cafe.

I do, too! What are your favorite items on their menu?

      1. My favorite thing is a side called “city grits”, which are more Southern than city. I like to try something new every time I go. I’ve had, Mardi Gras omelette, chicken and waffles, crab cakes and fried green tomatoes, and the cinnamon roll pancake. I’ve loved everything! My least favorite has probably been the chicken n waffle.

I almost ordered the Mardi Gras Omelette last time but changed my mind. I’ve had the “city grits” and loved it. Like you, I enjoy ordering something different each time.
