homemade low sugar apple bread
Heat the oven to 400°.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Bring the eggs to room temperature prior to mixing.
Then beat the eggs in another large mixing bowl.
Mix in the unsweetened applesauce and vanilla.
Combine the dry and wet ingredients, and mix well.
Add the chopped apples into the mixture, and pour the batter into the parchment paper that has been fitted into the loaf pan.
Mix a teaspoon of the Zero Calorie Brown Sugar with the chopped pecans and sprinkle on top. (Optional)
Bake at 400° for 60-70 minutes.
Test for doneness by inserting a wooden toothpick into the middle of the bread.
If the toothpick is clean, not wet, it's done.
