Cook 3/4 of the chopped onion with the ground beef in a large pot or stock pot.
Add the Seasonings.
When the meat is done, add the juice, tomatoes, and sauce.
Mix in the remainder of the chopped onion.
While the meat is cooking, bring 3 quarts water to boiling with 2 tsp salt.
When the water comes to boiling, add the macaroni and cook 8 minutes for tender macaroni.
Makes enough to fill 1/2 of a stock pot. Great as a dinner for two with plenty of leftovers or as a meal for six. This recipe is good for times that you don't want to cook much for a week.
