Make this southern creamy cabbage recipe in the slow cooker
Chop cabbage and set aside.
Melt cream cheese in the microwave using the defrost method for two minutes, checking it every thirty seconds and stirring until smooth.
Pour melted cream cheese into the slow cooker.
Melt four tablespoons butter in the microwave, and pour on top of the cream cheese in the slow cooker.
Next, add salt and seasoning into 1/4 cup of water and set aside.
Add cabbage to the slow cooker.
Pour the water with seasonings over the cabbage.
Add turkey pieces on top of the cabbage if you choose this option.
Cover with the lid, plug the slow cooker in, and cook on high for three hours (or 3-1/2 if you like your cabbage extra soft).
