Easy sausage balls made with biscuit mix

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Pioneer Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
  • 2 lb Jimmy Dean pork sausage
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 8-Oz. bag Four-cheese Mexican shredded cheese
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Santa Fe Seasons Six Seasonings

Instructions

  1. Empty sausage into a large mixing bowl and mash the meat with a fork.

  2. Pour the biscuit mix in with the sausage and blend well with a spoon.

  3. Add milk and mix well.

  4. Add the seasoning.

  5. Shape into small to medium-size balls.

  6. Arrange the sausage balls (spaced apart so they aren’t touching), onto two large cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

  8. If taking to a party, keep the sausage balls warmed in a slow cooker.
