Slow-cooker meals make things much easier for busy moms with hungry kids. No worries about being hangry. When your family is tired from working all day, kids are hyper, and it’s time for dinner,  there’s no waiting.

I’m a grandma and love to cook for my little grandchildren. I’ve made some of these recipes for them. Others I’ve made at home for my husband who drives a big rig. And I can tell you for sure that the big rig pot roast tastes delicious.

I’ve ridden with my husband In the semi, and he’s cooked the pot roast meal for me. Delicious. He’s made numerous slow-cooker meals in the truck – much better than eating sandwiches and high-carb foods all the time.

During the summer, I prefer preparing meals in the slow cooker or pressure cooker. Oven-cooked meals make the kitchen way too hot.

Fall is coming soon, though, so start planning slow-cooker comfort food  for cooler weather.

Like ribeye? Take just a minute to look at cooking a ribeye pressure-cooker meal. My hubby grills the best ribeye steaks. But occasionally, I cook them in the pressure cooker. And they turn out great.

Slow cooker and pressure cooker dinners are easy. Only difference? Slow, cooked-all-day meals. Fast, quick, easy meal. Both good. Both easy.
