Do you have a go-to seasoning that you prefer over all others? Six Seasonings is the best spice and herb combination that I’ve used. Unlike many seasoning mixes in one bottle, salt is not an ingredient in this blend. And when you need to limit the amount of sodium in your diet, you can confidently use Six Seasonings on most vegetables and meat.

During my current seven-day food-blogging sprint this week, I interviewed the food blogger/photographer, Matthew Roybal, the owner of Mateo J Designs. Matthew creates gorgeous gourmet dishes, and they are seasoned with spices and/or herbs that particularly go well with specific cuisines, such as Mediterranean or Guatemalan, etc. He cooks from a large array of spices from his pantry. He probably knows more about seasonings than I’ve ever used in a lifetime. I’m fascinated with his recipes. Like Stuffed Spinach Portabello Mushroom Burgers. And Tofu Enchiladas on Orange Zested Beans. We could go on and on about the amazing Mateo J Designs’ food photos and specially-seasoned recipes.

Patty Cakes Pantry has collaborated with me occasionally for team blogging on kitchen topics such as spices. Like she says in her blog post “25 ‘Must Have’ Spices for Your Pantry”, “Every home cook has certain spices, or seasonings, that they always reach for.”

It’s fun to experiment with recipes, using a variety of herbs and spices. But for Southern cooking, Spanish recipes, hamburgers, and many of the vegetables I cook, Six Seasonings has a wonderful flavor that I love.

If you were to look at my pantry, you’d see numerous types of seasonings, salt, and pepper – and always, plenty of Six Seasonings.
