I made this peppermint candy for Christmas, and it turned out to be a favorite of family and friends. Simple. Quick. Yummy. And there are only two ingredients to the basic recipe.

Easy Peppermint Candy

A basic peppermint candy recipe for holidays, special occasions, or simply for every day

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pkg Almond bark
  • 4-6 pieces Peppermint candy sticks or pieces

Instructions

  1. Melt 1/4 package of almond bark in a bowl in the microwave for one minute.

  2. Put the candy in a baggie with a slider.

  3. Seal the bag, and crush the candy with the heavy end of a butter knife.

  4. Mix crushed candy pieces into the melted almond bark.

  5. Lay parchment paper over a cookie sheet.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of the peppermint bark onto the parchment paper and let cool.

Recipe Notes

I make a small amount of peppermint almond bark at a time. However, you can make a large batch if you prefer.

Add chopped pecans or walnuts along with the peppermint.

Good Snack for the Big Game

This is a good snack recipe to bring to the big game day, for family and friend get togethers, or simply to put in your candy dish for company. Watch out, though – you’ll want to eat it all up yourself if you’re not careful.
