Grill Sirloin Steaks and Veggies with Apples

Grilling for two? Make it simple by cooking the entire dinner on the grill. Sirloin steak and veggies are great together. But do something different. Marinate the steak with wine…

and add fruit to the veggies. Slice your favorite vegetables to stick on skewers. Or wrap the veggies in foil. Use whichever fruit sounds good at the time.

Try Something Different

When my husband was preparing the grill to cook the sirloin recipe below, I got the idea to add sliced apples. Next time, it may be mango or pineapple. It’s fun to surprise yourself sometimes by adding a different ingredient on the grill. We liked the grilled apple and veggie mix.

    Grilled Sirloin Steak

This dinner is a delight. The steak provides protein, is filling, and you may have some left over to make a steak strip salad or steak sandwich. The grilled apples added to the top sirloin dinner gives you a nice satisfied feeling that comes with a taste of dessert.

You may want to bake potatoes and add to the meal or another type of carbohydrate. However, the meat, vegetables, and fruit are quite satisfying for an evening meal and not too heavy. I chose not to add bread or potatoes to our grilled sirloin dinner as they tend to give a bloated feeling.
